I have had multiple games where I'll play a team that has guys like Zane Gonzalez, Deion, Eli apple and they will run 2 man under the entire game. Bring both safeties up. My receivers will get pressed and locked down all game. Zig won't work. They can't beat the press even after 20 yards. Curls are wide open, but then get knocked out. This isn't common, but when it does happen I can't do anything. Also their pass rush will be phenomenal for no reason with core elite cards.

same thing is happening to me but i think they are because no way 81 chrisitan gonzalez flys across the whole field to knock out a pass i simply dont believe that

Something seems real sketchy because it isn't often, but when it does happen, the change in gameplay is significant.

yea when that happens i like to abuse crossing route as much as possible till they get out of it that's the only way I have found to beat it

I wasn't doing that nearly enough. I was so annoyed I couldn't think straight. I average 15 wins in Mut Champs and I was getting destroyed by an 83 ovr team. It was infuriating lol.
Without question. The two things I notice the most are the press corner lockdown (89 OVR vs 83 OVR) and then speed just seems nonexistent against these guys. My 89 speed card will be caught by a 83 speed but it's only against these super low overall teams.

That's weird. I'm a 50/50 Washington TT. My Corners are Primetime, MF Kendall Fuller, and TOTW Greg Stroman. My safeties are Paul Krause and Cam Curl. I have Berry and Sean T in the box. I run a lot of cover 3 sky and quarters because any time I play any man, my DBs just get absolutely dusted.
Nice profile picture btw. O-H!

I have this happen on occasion also. It is definitely an equalizer because the players also seem to be picking non-meta plays. they will run the ball and a guy with 80 speed will smoke 88 parsons, 90 ramsey and 87 bwagz to the edge and beyond. I don't think I've lost any of these games though. I use a lot of mesh against them because the players usually user dline or aren't good at making play calls to cover the double drag. Also, if they start to figure that out call trips tight and hit some flat route/corner/stick combos. Basically just find your comfort on quick short passes and go for 4 yards per play. It's not a fun way to play, but it works against this issue. I notice in the second half the game usually will start letting your players play better so if you can keep the game in reach through the first half or 3 quarters you usually get your interception animations and coverage in the 4th. You have to be extremely careful with your passing in these games early on because your qb will also throw "inaccurate" passes on perfectly timed throws with gift wrapped and gunslinger. And the "inaccurate pass" is amazingly accurate to a defensive player 15 yards away from where you were actually trying to throw the ball every time. If you have a mobile qb and a playbook with options these low overall teams usually don't call adjustments so MAKE SURE YOU PUT CONSERVATIVE BALL CARRIER ON, and run some options because they don't turn on conservative option defense.
This perfectly described my experiences in the games it happened. It's like the game is balancing out their performance to keep it a game. Even the speed of their players seems boosted. Yo! The perfectly passed ball to a DB kills me. It's almost as if the game purposely targets the nearest DB. I've had an inaccurate pass on an In route wide open that hit the CB 12 yards to my right for an Int. 12 yards. I probably have the vid buried in my clips.
