I got in to PvP gaming because it was original gameplay for the majority of the time. Now, every game is the same players, same "schemes/cheese" over and over and over and over and over again. Anyone else just getting bored? My passion for online gaming is dying. Gameplay is just repetitive. Just human bots doing the same 3 plays for 4 quarters. I'm so sick of having to always switch defense to some BS to stop other BS. Not different BS, always the same. I average 15 wins in Mut Champs, but 11 of those 15 is always having to switch to the same repetitive defense to stop the same repetitive offenses.

But that's what youtube told them to do so they could win... and youtube also told them to buy packs. Accurate statement to call them bots. i run a lot of different stuff because i never watch youtube unless its to learn how to stop 1 glitchy offensive play that i can't find a fix for. Usually my opponents will run 1 or 2 plays until i get a pick and then they either quit or scramble through their playbook trying to find something that works. This makes the game somewhat enjoyable for a few plays, but once you have a 2 score lead its rare anyone ever stays.
The other night i thew a pick on my first drive and gave up a td after giving up a td on the opening drive. when i threw the pick i set my controller down and went to take a dump i came back after he scored 14-0 and i had the ball on my own goal line after 2 delay of game penalties. i called a timeout to keep from getting booted and hit moss on a 5 wide verts for 100yd td (it actually recorded as 100 instead of 99) I went on to make the guy quit at halftime when i was up 28-20 and was to receive the second half kickoff. In conclusion, try letting the bots get a small lead then take away their play. watch them squirm and enjoy the show.

I've definitely had a lot of games where this happens as well. As soon as I get a stop on their cheese, they go into panic mode. Run stretches or gun bunch. They start going through every meta play they can remember from YouTube. It's just so damn repetitive anymore. I might get 1 game every 3 seasons where I see something original. I'll play the entire game just because it's different. Win or lose. I also run a new playbook constantly and run damn near every formation at least once. I just want some variety. Maybe I'm being g an old head though. I'm 32 and I started online gaming before E books were so easy to access.

Uggh, initially i thought this was just a few random schmucks online, but then i see "pro" streamers running the same 3-4 plays over and over and over. What in the actual fuck? I thought i was signing up for simulation fatball, this has been anything but. I haven't even tried MUT Champs again since it was patched, i guess it's nice that stats can be awarded now for losses. I doubt I could easily put up 15 wins in a week of MUT Champs, but i'm falling way behind.
Does not really appear to be a solution in sight. I pre-ordered Spiderman 2 for my 10 year old son this week, probably gonna check that out. Reviews seem to suggest it's an incredibly polished game, from Insomniac, which should really begin to push the PS5 hardware. About time that we move on from the dual-platform releases. Madden kind of tried to achieve that (by splitting old & new console generations), but lacks the technical ability to pull it off.
The lone H2H game mode i dropped into last evening was a dude running 90% run plays with Marshawn Lynch. I'd run-commit (middle) and still somehow give up 4-6 yards per play, even if he was just dive, dive, dive between the tackles, with HB Stretch being the "variation" to the gameplan. That's just not fun for me when there's zero defense. If even guessing run isn't able to slow that down, what chance do we have? I get trying to tune and balance gameplay, but what an absolute mess.

Yeah I'm 28 and don't want to waste time on youtube or e books if i'm not going to be trying to play in tournaments or anything. I like the challenge of grabbing random playbooks and figuring out how to use them to stop/beat metas. I started with the raven's playbook, but that one became pretty common so after winning a superbowl with it i switched to the bears offense with the intention of winning a superbowl with every offense and defense. I got lazy though and i'm content with playing with the bears and occasionally the ravens playbooks. I just feel like trading 3 players to get a 1 playbook is too much because i also want uniforms stadiums and both playbooks so that is 15 players for a set. i think they should add a set where it's like 10 players to get all of a team's equipment. I mean i think all of online gaming has become like this in the end. Call of Duty is everyone running the most overpowered guns camping or abusing the movement system to get kills, madden is meta crazy, co op games typically have modders/glitchers giving themselves the best loot or breaking the damage of their weapons so they 1 hit all the toughest enemies or can't take damage themselves. I tried playing black ops 4 zombies a few months ago and every match people were exploiting an invincibility glitch with noone trying to do the easter egg, like how can you even have fun if you're not challenging yourself in any way? Racing games are awful to try playing online because people have full car simulators set up at home and with manual shifting and knowing every corner they play like they're racing for real and even when i run my best laps ever i'm still 3-10 seconds slower than those guys.
