I built a running based offense on MUT and took it online (I don’t play online a lot) and guys were able to just user their linebacker and run straight thru the gap and tackle my guy for a loss everytime. Even when they werent really expecting a run.
I don’t really understand how that’s possible. They were able to casually run thru my line and hit stick my RB behind the line of scrimmage. Wtf is that
How good is your o line and do you use abilities? Also, you need to switch it up it sounds like. Try RPOs, stretch plays and slip screens. If you have a mobile qb, run option and triple option sets from playbooks like run n gun, run n shoot, ravens, etc.

I have a 93 LT, 87 LG 85 C and 86 87 right guard/tackle. Its not terrible. I wasn’t even running the ball though, I was doing all pass plays and then decide to do 1 run and the guy is just ushering his LB, sees the play and runs right thru the line
try to incorporate a few pass plays every once in awhile to mix it up as well as if your run game is getting locked up

for team building purposes just sell ogden (its Ogden right?) and buy a better center and you could get a 90 left tackle

Makes sense but maybe buy a guy like Andrew Tomas 1 ap ep which is solid

Alright I took your advice and sold the 93, + an expensive Jeffrey Simmons I didn’t really need. worked super well. Buffed the whole Oline and still had funds to upgrade at corner and safety

What are your abilities? I run the ball alot and try to find abilities for my line that mesh well with my runs. For example, inside zone runs out of Trey/Twins Gun, the center wil double team the DT with a guard, then the guard releases the block a LB, so on my center I have Post Up and on my guard I have Nasty Streak.
Also idk if anyone has said it but DO NOT HIT RIGHT TRIGGER BEFORE YOU CLEAR THE BOX, as soon as you hit RT the AI defensive linemen will go into block shed mode and often times disengage with your line and quickly take you down from behind. Also learn to skip Juke, this is doing a hard cut (LT+direction) and a juke at the same time. Really effective move especially with a back who is using juke box.

ive Gotten pretty good at not boosting until I hit daylight. As far as Oline abilities, I took them all off And put them on my RB, TE and QB. I run a 2 WR 2 TE 1 RB set so I need all those guys popping

Couple of things that seem to work for me. ID the Mike as the User and run a formation with a FB. 90% of the time the FB will block the User. Don't press sprint too early, wait until you're in the clear or there's a gap to run through. Run outside a bit.

Hmmmmm that’s a pretty good idea.
There r a ton of gap shoots u can learn to stop these runs… especially from 335 wide
