Whenever I play online on PC there is consistently a 3-4 second input delay that makes the game literally unplayable. I have lowered my settings, turned off cross play, cleared the EA App's cache, and launched the game from steam and the EA app. Anybody know how to fix this?
I play on a console so I know things are a little bit different for me.
Are you experiencing this every single game you play online?
Also, are you hard-wired in or using WIFI?

I'm using wifi and it's every single game without fail.

I would try hard wiring to your modem/router if that is an option for you.

You could always uninstall and reinstall the game but I don't think that would fix anything.
The concern is that it's happening in every game, which makes me believe it has something to do with your connection.
There is a input delay if you're playing someone on the opposite coast and they're the host, but that wouldn't be the case here either as it's happening each online game.
First you need to make sure your computer can handle the game. With just the minimum requirements you will have many problems. My laptop can load the game and play challenges just fine, if I try to play online head to head its nothing but 4-5 second input lag. My desktop with wired LAN cable and the game runs perfect. Also try selecting a frame rate that is static, like 60 or 120 with lowest settings and no HDR, whatever you can run. Clear out uncessary programs to free up memory/ram. This game runs heavy on ram.
Lastly I overclocked my ps5 remote to 8000 polling rate and the lag was unplayable. I dropped it back down to 1000 and lag was gone.

My pc can handle it, its fine offline but always has several seconds of input lag when playing online, and its never like this for any other game so its not my internet
