So I am gonna preface this by saying i have a meta team. Most of the best players in the game so i know its not a player issue. To put it bluntly when i press man my corners get easily beat deep on streaks and such but when many of my opponets press they are almost never blown away by the likes of my hesters or jerry rices so i was just wondering if anyone knows how they are setting up their press man differently cuz it dont make anu sense.
If you bring your players up to the LOS and your opponent sees that, he'll probably audible a WR on a streak. To counter it you can press your Corners but shade over the top coverage and predict pass.

That's a little more basic than what I'm talking about. I'm talking about these guys press are so good my guys can even run a zig route because thier press is so sticky and they are fully pressed but are somehow able to stick with my 89 speed hester on a streak step for step 9/10 times 1 on 1 with no help over the top. You know what I'm talking about if you've gone up against it
I'm confused? Your OP talked about your Corners getting beat? In your next post, you talk about your WR's not getting open. You already know there's nothing to be done in game that can change what your Wideouts do & in that case, you're moaning about something you know you can't do anything about. So I don't really know why you posted in the first place? Anyway, basic or not, that's all I've got if you want to help your Corners from getting beat deep. That or don't press them obv.
Sometimes this game just wants to even stuff up and we all get games where the other guy just stops your players at the LOS or covers the fuck out of everything or gets through for sacks and pressures no matter what. It's what makes people keep buying 'better' players. It's partly why I don't bother - I honestly think having that "meta team" you talked about makes a marginal difference at best and 9 times out of 10, no difference at all.
No need to get defensive im talking about a specific type of press that people are able to do that actually presses the guys at the line of scrimmage and significantly slows them down. Much more so than your standard press comes close to and is only something i started seeing in the legend division. I know what im seeing i consistently win 20+ weekend league so i know im not a complete scrub at least i was just hoping maybe someone had an insight into what they are doing.
Not defensive buddy, just confused about the switch from CB problems to WR problems and that you're looking for answers but don't seem to actually want any?
Anyway, it's not a thing. There are no game adjustments that allow 'Press Plus' or something. People either bring their Corners into Press or they don't. I do agree with the idea that in some games that Press seems to be a lot more effective though. Happens a lot, particularly after a few wins. There used to be loads of talk about DDA in Madden and, really, that's the only thing makes any sense. If you got to a situation where you won absolutely every game, you'd get bored and stop playing. You'd also stop spending. If you believe that your 'meta team' would be even more 'meta' if you just spent a little bit more then you'll stay around. It's called 'engagement' and isn't even really about just $$. Forget what YOU might do individually, as a general rule, more people playing longer will spend more money. QED.
I guess, if you don't think DDA is a thing then you could look hard at the RLS numbers on the players you have or something but, truthfully, I think it's all BS. Maybe the other guy has CB's with really good PRS numbers? That way you have the 'best' WR's; your opponent has the 'best' CB's and its a dice roll as to who beats who. Sometimes your players get open, sometimes they don't. I just notice that the more games I win, the more often shit like the stuff you're talking about seems to happen to me.
