AFI is more emo/screaming in my opinion. Heavy metal to me is Pantera, killswitch engage, black sabbath, trivium, bullet for my valentine etc

Rap/hip hop is my favourite genre and Nas is my favourite artist. I like a lot of different genres but can't really get into country or EDM. Pantera is one of my favourite bands.

Maybe your listen to the new edm. If you go back about 8 years to the golden age of edm from like 2011-2015 then you will find some awesome songs. Calvin Harris, David guetta, flo rida, pitbull owned this era.
