Hi, everyone!
I'm looking for recommendations on what do you think is the best Madden NFL game in terms of playing through a MyPlayer type of mode
That is, I'm looking for a game that has a single-player mode where you create your character, play and level him up during many seasons
All that matters to me is a mode where I can create my character, go through drafts and just play the position I'm assigned to play. I don't want anything to do with micromanagement, like managing a whole team, players, their salaries, etc. as I'll leave that to the CPU
It's been a long time since I played an NFL game. The last one that I played was Madden NFL 2019, and one of the main reasons I quit playing that game was because of huge difficulty spike, that is, there was no "in-between" difficulty.
When you set the difficulty to Rookie you win every game by 30+ points margin, whereas when you bump the difficulty up by one notch to Pro, suddenly it's immediately hard to do anything. Runs don't work, almost every pass is either incomplete or intercepted, your team's defense sucks, and so on...
So I'm looking for a game that has a balanced difficulty level on Pro (or whatever "Normal" option is)
Also, I'd prefer to avoid games where your player has some "special abilities/powers" or something like that, because what I'm mostly interested in is realistic gameplay, with a point buy system, where you spend points on your players skills that you accumulate from training and playing games
I don't care about rosters, or special game features, so the game can be on any platform and from any year, it doesn't have to be current-gen to be playable for me
Which games like this would you recommend?
