I played from launch day back in September to March religiously. Had an all-99 Dark Matter squad with 4 million MT to spare. I just got burnt out.
Playing daily for 7 straight months to keep up with agendas and new players that may be limited time earnable wore me out. I’ve played it every year since 2k13 when MyTeam first became available and I truly feel that mode gets better every year.

Danggg… i have been playing all year and i only have a 99 starting lineup… and 4/5 are the free trash cards… and i dont have a lot of purchasing power since i only have 70k…lol… how did u get so much mt?

I play 2K every now and then so my MYTEAM is pretty bad, i mostly play MyCareer

I used only free cards all year up to pretty much right after New Years. Id save my MT at all costs, and then when big names came out like Kobe, Giannis, I’d badge out and re-sell on the day they released. I bought Kobe’s first Dark Matter of the year for 650k, added 18 more Hall of Fame badges to him and sold for 3.8 million.

So in Limited I would stop at 5 rings and instead of getting the players I would take the badges. The level 39 HoF badges, there were multiple HoF badges for Signature challenges , one per season I think. Once they started doing Beyond Level 40 agendas they would offer 2 additional HoF badges. Christmas I think I made 2 or 3 through exchanges.
Overall I never added a single HoF badge on a player I was keeping. I saved every single one to use on a high end player to re-sell. People go crazy over high number HoF badges cards. Especially those gamers plying in the $250ktournaments..

I watched a lot of JD Crossover on YouTube who’s No Money Spent and he has great pointers and always has anything and everything he wants. Hes really good with his MT and badge usage.

Keep me updated man. Like I said I’ve played religiously the last 6 or 7 or so MyTeam years, so if you have any questions feel free to shoot them out my way. I usually quit mid-year too and gift my MT so next season remind me if your on Xbox and I’ll hook ya up.
