I have a regular switch and have had it since it came out its been great for love playing pokemon and zelda on it it's definitely worth it.

How are the Pokémon games? Played sooo much gen 6 on the 3ds. Also, how overwhelming is BOTW? I’ve heard it gets pretty tedious.

Great I only played till legends arceus so can't say for the ones after but that's always been my gripe with zelda the puzzles get tedious after awhile.

I've had a normal switch for about a year and a half now. Overall I'd say it's really good, since it is just powered by the tablet it doesn't run as well as Xbox or Playstation, but overall the gameplay for most games are really good and the game selection is great.
