I've been an NFL fan since 2019, I didn't mean to become a fan, but got a hold of a Tony Dungy biography and because I really liked him, and already was a Peyton Manning fan since I am a Vols fan. I started following the Colts. They are always either really bad (1998, 2012, 2022), really good but lose in a playoff heartbreaker (1969 (rigged), 1995, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2020). or 9-8.

The lions have been trash absolutely forever, it was horrible to watch but then a new coach came in and changed the atmosphere, Dan Campbell coming in with a cool dad vibe that ressurected the team from the depths of heck and made the team very good for at least 4-5 years, if you want a real team to watch with emotion than become a lions fan

Dan Campbell is reason enough to like the Lions. I never thought I could respect the Lions, they did have the balls to go get Dan and let him do it his way.
Respect for that.
And yes, he would be a good president imo.

Let the team choose you.
What I mean by this is watch as many games/ highlights games as you can. After a while you should find yourself gravitating towards certain teams. It could be their personnel/ play style/ uniform/ whatever.
I'm an old Brit whose been watching the NFL since the early 80s. I ended up with the Cowboys as the childhood me simply liked the star logo and the old Texas stadium. Little did I know what that would be setting me up for many, many years of disappointment.
