2 Man Squads Subs

In 2 man squads  , I am  Defense  , can my buddy on Offense substitute 

any of my players , such as my 90 D Henry for #1 HB or my D Sanders

for KR , and if so  How ?

he can put safeties and cbs at kr and punt return, only 3 players, and you can sub them in on defense

OK So my Def can sub his guys at kr but he can't sub in my def guys at kr

That's kind of stupid , but it is EA
