Just played a guy who came out in 5 wide had 2 people on slants 2 on outs and one on a post and no man, zone, or blitzing defense could touch it. I tried match coverage, pressing, and giving cushion. I couldnt shade inside because of the outs, I couldn’t shade out because of the slants and if I blitzed I couldn’t get to him in time. Any advice on Playing these people?
I would personally shade outside and play the slants with my user tbh. But I’m not the best player

He had away bills jerseys and I’m on next gen. Seemed impossible to stop it.
If you have a really good TE and put him on a seam while running the receiver beside him in a slant, then run the far right WR in a slant(both going the same identical way) the inside slant will pull the Middle linebacker(quite often),and the second wr swooping through will be open a lot. Ill run the 5wide a little bit,but IMO the key is pressure from your dline. If you got blitz radar activated and are fairly decent at qb it can be tough to stop imo. A huge portion of the time the TE who runs a seam will be running down the middle wide open. I put deep in(ability) on my TE(gronk),and he gets open a ton. I would attempt to get more pressure through whatever blitz package you can get penetration in,and see how he adjusts and reads.
