50 Ghosts/50 Super Bowl

I was able to get to this and get the best of both boosts, but now my lineup is pretty well locked in.   I’ve liked to keep about $5 million coins in the bank, but over the past 2 weeks, I’ve dropped about $1.8 million to build the team. And I’m down to  $3.2 million - not enough to add any LTDs to change up the lineup.  The only non- tt player in the starting lineup is Playoff Creed - I like the boosts he provides to other player ls and he’s NAT.  My concern is that I won’t really be able make any further upgrades - I have 5 “empty“ spots in my lineup for non tt players(it really hurts that we don’t have backup guards for either SB or Ghost teams - cheap move by EA).  The 5 players I have hidden are:  BND PO Cook(3rd HB), BND Madabeast, BND 95 Parham, BND 92 Gronk(for blocking), then either BND 95 Rice or BND 93/94 DT Jones.  Worried that I’ll lose interest in future promos, as most player are 98/99 speed already and thought I like to get to 99 every year, there’s not much point now, as I’ve invested so much here.  I’m also locked into SF/KC unis and playbooks to keep the chems……….

i was in a similar position as you, 50/50 on both and had about 7.7 mil in the bank. Last night I decided to make the switch to a full 70/70 SB theme team and profited 800k by doing so. Have 76/70 and plenty of open positions that I can continuously upgrade - especially if they continue to drop players with Super Bowl chem (like AKA Heath, Holt and Warner) throughout the year. Also have 18/50 GOM Past so my offensive line gets the strength boost.

I like the team, but I don’t have the 7 million coin stack.  If I did, I try it isn’t a  heartbeat to see how it played.  I’ve put together a 63/70 SB team out of what I already have in my binder, so I might just hold out until prices continue to drop, or some reduced come out.  Don’t really want to go below $3 million at this point with a few months at least of meaningful gameplay.  I’d have to add 95s/96s at this point at some key positions to stay competitive after taking my ghosts out and the prices have dropped so far on the ghosts, it doesn’t seem like I’d get enough back to buy the 3-4 SB cards I’d need

Yeah, I just switched off the GoM TT. Didn't feel like the 4m+ investment was worth the +3 speed on just the three or four players it was going towards.

Do you not have any ghost LTDs you can sell in exchange for the SB cards? Some of the SB LTDs are at 400k rental price & give x4

It’s going to come down to abilities and discounted AP, really. Your team will probably be good until mid-March. By then I think ZC/GOM will be dated and SB TT might start to be a mismatch by then. EA will force you to use new cards like they do every year. Rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the advice guys.  Sold of my LTDs and redux ghosts.  Bought Mahomes 96, Ward 96, MVS 95, Williams 95, Holt 95, Deebo 96 and still made $600k with 16 Ghost 93s in the binder still to sell or hold for 96 sets, and about 5-6 90s also that could probably all net me about  $1.8 million more if I sold them all off, which would put me back up to $5.5 million.  Not sure if I should sell or hold the 93s though…..Also my defense went up to a 96 OVR.
