500 xp short on TOTY pass?

I want to make sure I understand how this works I have to do 3 sets of 95 or 97s to get a free BND 95

I could but does it make sense to complete 3 sets to get a 95 BND? If my choice of 97 toty BND maybe

Up to you to decide what's worth it. 

Sniping pieces on day one allowed for building a 95 toty to sell for profit so it made sense at drop.

i'm pretty sure if you do all the challenges and objectives - you don't have to do one of the set objectives - but it'll count if you do either Hero or Champion set

I’ve completed the field pass and only did 2/3 sets (1 set for TOTW collectibles And 1 Champion set) and had extra XP Left. 
 

Didn’t do the math down to specific XP, just assumed because I didn’t do all 3 sets.

Yes I am saying it can’t be done without sets guess I should have been more clear
