Wait til you try the new PS5 version of the game and see how poorly it performs on our "modern" current-generation of consoles, uggh. I don't know how or why, but seems PS5 is way worse than Xbox from a pure game-performance standpoint. Although, i can't go back to the PS4 game. My 10-year old step son comments each and every time he's here how vastly different the generation of games looks on his Xbox Series S that his step-mom got for the boys. It was nearly impossible to find an PS5 or Xbox Series X during peak-COVID, so i feel bad he's stuck with that ~half the time. Hard to fault her (his step-mom), she was trying to keep up with the joneses.
Pursuit angles are horrendous on current-generation, but even then, it still feels noticeably different, the PS4 version of the game always felt liek players were basically skating around on ice, the motion wasn't very fluid. I only played `23 briefly (for a couple/few months) before upgrading to a PS5 and couldn't wait to make the leap. Granted, i didn't have a ~decade of Madden experience to relearn and retrain myself, there's a bunch of folks who still play the PS4 version of the game on newer consoles. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I definitely wouldn't have it in me to start fresh now.
