At this point in the year I'm just trying to get as many GTs as possible on my team while still maintaining competitive players at other positions. I've been looking for a good corner but right now Cordarelle Patterson is outside my price range. I could just power up Mike Haynes, but I feel like I could do better and get a GT with better stats. I was thinking about either Justin Layne or putting CJGJ at CB. Thoughts?

I guess I could try, depends on how good the S4 rewards are since challenges are my main coin saving method. I'd be able to get 244k coins selling Haynes and Laron Landry (assuming a 97 pup is in the S4 rewards). I just need to know how good Patterson really is on old gen because some of his stats are a little iffy like block shed compared to other GT corners.

Only reason I'm wondering is because CJGJ has better stats than both Cordarelle and Justin Layne. I've heard that height doesn't matter as much on Current Gen (I play on PS4) and 5'9 Tyreek has been balling for me on defense.

Steelers TT, rolling with Witherspoon/Layne about to add ETT once he hits 99. 99 Minkah FS and going to grab Troy when his GT SS hits. Loving my secondary.

I’m also on PS4 and got Patterson when he dropped last Friday. He really hasn’t noticeably helped my defense at all. I was hoping he would make a bunch of plays but he kind of reminds me of BB Randy Moss CB. The card looks amazing but really doesn’t play above average. Justin Layne has played better. I’d say Witherspoon, Lem Barney, and Ty Law have consistently made a ton of plays and you wouldn’t need any team chems to use any of them.

Ty Law actually sounds like a good option, I can do his set and use the NCATs to get some good players for O-line. And if I'm not satisfied with him, I guess I could always sell him and save up enough for a GT.
