Yeah a controller vs a mouse and keyboard in a shooter is pretty much bringing a knife to a gun fight. I forgot to mention, I do sometimes play games with sort of a shooter aspect incorporated, such as Cyberpunk 2077. But I don't play it for that aspect (I basically just go hacking anyway) although it's kind of nice to have once in a while. Shooters get boring for me personally really quickly though.

I'm the same way. I can't play shooters for more than an hour or so. I tried getting into CoD but once Madden came out, i haven't touched it

Well you can buy modded controllers for any console including Xbox and PlayStation along with PC. With that aside the advantage with first person shooters on PC comes from 1. High refresh rate we can typically run our games at way higher fps. 2. Using a mouse gives you way better range of motion and control than just your thumbs.
I wish we could enable crossplay but exclude PC. Nothing but issues
