Abandon Theme Teams?

It feels early for me but I’m contemplating being done with thinking about TT boosts.

l recently sold most of my Legends TT. I saw how fast the Eagles Defense was looking and jumped on the train. I have built a 50/50 Eagles TT and I just don’t think it’s as fun for me. (I knew this would happen, I‘ve done this in past years many times)

Knowing that UL’s are likely coming next weekend, hoping that we get Backyard Ballers again, and seeing these AKA and Honors cards I’m thinking I might just forget about TT chems for now.

I might even be able to keep 40/40 Legends chem as I still have a bunch of BND’s and a handful of Legends that I didn’t sell. (Knowing this would happen)

I wish we still had the Speed boost at 25/25 like last year. I had a lot of fun making hybrid teams.

Yeah, the speed boost being at 40 is really disappointing. I wish they would do the 25 chems as well. It's hard to run a theme team without completely committing to it this year, especially since very few cards have multiple chem.

Idk but towards end of may and early June do you think TT are worth doing? Cuz you could do all golden tickets and still have a really good team

For sure!

I refuse to abandon my o-line setup so I’m left with only 4 cheat spots on my Eagles TT. It’s still a great team but I think I’m gonna sell some of these cards while they’re high and just try to stack players with the best ability discounts. If I can keep 40 Legends to boost a few key spots I might for a while.

Nah once we start seeing stock 97+ Speed on everyone TT’s will be done for most people.

i felt this way months ago when i was building my yearly commanders TT.

every time the commanders failed my expectations (which is usually every year) i do a random team and keep it at the end of the year... last year was ravens TT because of them getting extensive cards (also because i'm closely towards the area) this year i have been doing fun teams courtesy of kaitord's thread making a ALL TALL LINEUP so far it's outdated and expectingly so because height absolutely kills the game personally i just wish they didn't kill certain things not saying i was for or against these things but

it is impossible to scramble then ever before, gameplay is so bland, team building is so bland....i would love to go back to the old chems of madden 17 even RED CHEMS for that matter but like always everybody is gonna wait until the start of next year AKA the best part of the madden year
