I have guys like Ronnie Lott where both abilities cost 2 AP. For CBs and safeties, which ability is better? I kinda feel like acrobat is already pick artist and more but could be wrong.
Acrobat lets you dive horizontal.
PA gives you better catching/return stam
Not sure which is better this year but acrobat is usually leads to more rage. But that doesn't mean it's the better ability.
On safeties I find acrobat to be somewhat OP. I have it on Dawkins and Lott

Are you actually animating with them? I had it on Troy P. and he never once animated for me.

Troy made some nice picks for me but yeah, Dawkins especially has made some serious diving picks for me. Lott hasn't gotten many animations but Weapon X definitely has
Deep Inside Zone KO>Acrobat>Pick Artist

I am just finally in the process of replacing my Pick Artist DBs (such as Ronnie Lott) with Deep Zone KOs. At the moment, i feel liek the meta is (or should be) shifting towards this AP setup on defense:
- Deep Out Zone KO (x2) = 6AP
- Deep In Zone KO = 2AP
- LurkArtist = 1AP
From there, i'm probably going to line up in some Dime formations and see how it goes, but yeah KOs, KOs, KOs. Ronnie actually still picks the ball of (and definitely reacts faster to pass coverage) with the KO ability, which in turn enables him to get more / easier picks, as he's in better position.
neither deep out zone and it's not even close, run it on your outside corners in cover 3/4 and thank me later, also mid zone KO on a sublb use all 9 AP on KO's.... Kearse & Woolen my CB DOKO's Lott at SUBLB2 mid zone KO
it's not even close on what the next best thing to spend AP is on IMO... my D clamps now

Yup, KOs are basically a necessity. Makes WRs drop the ball if you breathe on them and plus you get quicker reactions for more picks/breakups.
Personally I’m liking Deep In on my safeties more because I like shutting down the middle of the field; works great in Cover 3 & 4 and still activates if my safeties are in Cover 2 as long as the pass is between the numbers.
