After a decade of playing this silly game... M24 will be my last MUT.

I just don't have it in me to get back on the hamster wheel again.  I just watched Gutfoxx's M25 Beta review and he says that it's the slowest he has ever seen defenders (and he's been playing longer than me).

I know that EA has been moving in a "sim" direction for years now.  Hell...that's what has kept me playing the "old gen" version of the game (on my next gen console).  It's just not fun to have your user feel like he's running in quicksand.  

I guess I'll still play M24 when I get a hankering... but I think finding an opponent who also likes the feel of the old gen game is going to be increasingly difficult.

I wish they would offer two versions of M25... the current one and a "MUT Classic" version.

it is sad seeing everybody quit or saying they’ll quit or whatever. this game was poppin before covid. Then kraelo quit being the manager puppet or whatever happened and the game just stopped improving. 
 

nobody even talks about how stupid NAT NCAT BND cards are anymore. Like that Was literally the tipping point for madden being wack. I couldn’t even make it to the Christmas promo this year because the game stopped being fun when I couldn’t give my friends all my coins and packs stopped being remotely fun. Don’t get me started on gameplay and how every opponent seems to be training for the madden World Cup... Ugh. Anyway... yeah the state of the game definitely sucks but I’m on a several month sabbatical and can’t wait to see what blunder is in store for M25 or whatever it is called. hope to see some familiar faces out there in the fields

only 5 yrs for me but I'm out lol the blatant greed and cash grab have ruined mut.....nat, bnd cards, no solo battle rewards, no WL/mut champs rewards, packs have always been bad but have NEVER been this bad, way way way to many abilities, presents and eggs ruined, etc etc etc game is a shell of its former self smh

Man... I haven't logged into Muthead in years and forgot all about my MHC.  Really miss those days.  I just logged in there to check and see what I had and it's not too bad.... 587 MHC remaining.  But at one point I think I had close to 3000!

you and kan should’ve cashed out when they were $3-4 a piece. I had buyers lined up around the corner!

hypothetical cash value is less than a penny per these days 😭

last mut I played was 19 and it was great except for end yr when they screwed everyone and didn’t do golden tickets. I was done after that.  Got the itch came back in April this yr and made a lightly competitive team. Realized quickly in h2h abilities are everything and stats/ physics are meaningless. Passing is virtually impossible due to KO.only way anyone does it now is YouTube bunch.  3 lineman in heavy pass coverage stops heavy run sets. Been playing mut since 15. Never seen it so bad and honestly pointless to team build since every player does the same thing.

Personally, I prefer the move to more ofa  realistic style of game, as very few real-life nfl players can run around like a chicken-with-their-head-cut-off and cover the entire middle of the field, as I frequently saw this occur in mostly Old gen madden games (really ed reed was like the only nfl player who could even come close to performing  COD animations that people's users in old gen MUT would frequently do, but he is a FS so...). 

But I do agree with your point of selling two games, one with an old gen style of gameplay, and one with a realistic style of Mut gameplay. It will never most likely happen, but maybe one day...

I hate the stupid sim gameplay. The game getting slower and slower is slowly killing off my fun with it. I wish it was all like madden 22 again. really a perfect mut year

Hey man... I say to each his own.  The current gen version seems to be what you enjoy and that's great.  For me... it took me years to become proficient at usering like a maniac... and that's what's fun for me.  Being able to take away multiple routes on a single play... or baiting someone into a lurked pick... that's what I like.  And you need to have "arcady" type control of your user to be able to do this well.

At least I dumped a bunch of MHC before all the demand dried up.  Kan still has a ton though... lol.

I’ve been playing Madden since 1989.  This was my last year.  I’m giving CFB25 a shot to impress me. If it doesn’t, I’m done with EA.
