When is the AH gonna be normal again!! This is annoying!! Few more days? Permanent? Arghhh
Im guessing EA will implement something making it worse since 99% of the community is bitching.
My guess 100% perm and only going to get worse.Love the cheap deals keep them coming i say
Are they cheap deals though for players who have their coins locked up in players that they can no longer auction? This is a disaster for players who didn’t sell before Easter, are NMS, and/or invested in eggs.

What cheap deals? No 97 is gonna sell for 260k minimum. sets are pointless at this point.
There are multiple factors in play (SB head to head mode gone, MLB Show attracting userbase, new set champions being mediocre, everyone planning for Easter Sunday to be a card selling bonanza for some unexplained reason) yet the YouTubers are focused on the price locks. There is some merit to it but there are lots of tweaks EA could make to improve the state of the market without just making everything cheaper.
The price locks are likely a safeguard they implemented to restrict coin sales and to prevent “oops I posted my 300k card for 30k” so I’m not sold on EA removing them.
It’s entirely possible this lull in the market was intended and just hit harder than expected. If they drop a new promo Thursday that has a set objective for 88/89s, some desireable top end cards, or a head to head mode that puts coins back in peoples accounts the market could shoot right back up. Even if they just slightly improved training rolls it’s likely the market rebounds.
Anyway, I guess that doesn’t answer your question OP but I think there are a lot of reasons the market is doing what it’s doing right now beyond “price floors” and that even though the MUT market gurus are saying the price floors are the issue, it’s also possible these other factors can effect the market as well and that EA won‘t let training go below 1 (SR cards excepted).

I was gonna say I don’t mind paying the training price on most 97s and below That’s a good thing. The bad thing is trying to sell anything that isn’t a top 10 card in MUT. If it’s selling for the training price I’ve just been qs them because you can list a card for days and it won’t sell.

I hear you! For the most part, i don't have a problem with what they were trying to do with the 1:1 training ratio and not letting cards fall below a certain price. HOWEVER, you can't lock up the market to the point that players can't do sets for cheaper and thus making the "bottom" price on cards too expensive and no one wants to buy them. This isn't even about "making" coins (though i know it is for some people). It is literally about not being able to sell your cards for the bare minimum. If one wants to take a low fixed price in exchange for coins, they should be able to. This is why ALL players should have a minimum quicksell value in something other than training. Ya know, kind of the like The Show.

Lol it's not about "cheap deals" it's about EA controlling everything and fucking over their customers yet again. The AH existed for years, maybe EA can just leave it the hell alone? They messed everything else up, at least leave us with something that works, even if it is a laggy mess. I have 3 97s and a 96 want to sell since i have no coins and i can't do it because they won't sell. There is nothing good about that at all
It’s probably only gonna get worse
The sales of packs gotta be slowing down right? I mean who would continue to buy packs if you cant even sell the cards?
If it stays locked, then Base 99s will be 650k!!!! That is NOT CHEAP by any means.... They will be selling for more than some of the LTD 99s, which makes ZERO Sense!!!
The only ones that can survive in this market will be the Whales... Especially since the Non-Whales wont be able to make any coins because their cards wont sell.... I stopped grinding for coins over a month ago, when i had about 5mil.. I was thinking that would be more than enough to finish the year (including GTs), but now, im not so sure if every 99 i buy is 650k!!!

You would think... I mean, im sitting on a bunch of cards im not even trying to move... I don't have the time post 20 cards every hour of the day, with only 1-2 of them selling each time (if im lucky)....

I hope they fix it! God, I’ve never seen a company that hates their player base so much. I hope people are slowing down on buying packs or leaving the game altogether. Maybe, just maybe they’ll change then
COMMUNICATION!
I think everyone’s biggest issue is that the price floors and caps keep appearing randomly and without any communication as to whether they are short term or permanent or whatever. Classic EA. If we knew this was coming, or how long it was lasting, I think it would be much less of an issue. They randomly change stuff without warning in a game people pay for. Add AP, take away AP, boost/nerf cards, make things BND. The list goes on and on of things they’ve changed after we invest real money into a video game.
