Them look super similar but Flacco has a few slight upgrades. I‘ve had Aikman at rental price for a long time, would it be worth trying to get Flacco near rental price to replace him?
Huh? Aikman is 200k, Flacco is 600k.

Aikman is a LTD Legend, which I got when it came out. You’re confusing the price with his redux card that came out last week.

350k is still alot less than 600k
Edit: No one pays extra for the true limited on the AH if thats what your hinting at. Its the same card as the redux so the only added value is the quicksell which is 350k iirc.

Yes, that’s why I said rental price… never said anyone would be paying extra for him.
Flacco’s price will not stay at 600k for very long, which you would know if you pay attention to the AH.
Will somebody who actually knows how things work answer my original question?

He's saying he has Aikman who's value was at 400k (quicksells for 350k = rental value - never loses that value). He wants to know if it's worth picking up Flacco for around the same price when he drops to the 400-450k rental value comparable to Aikman.
OP,
Flacco looks better on paper. but doesn't get the SFL X-Factor (He does get Fearless though). Just depends on what you feel necessary for your offense. Personally, i prefer HRM over SFL right now.

Clarify it to him, Flacco doesn’t get SFL x-factor, he actually gets it in his 4th bucket.

Yes they do, buying the Ltd at 390 means you pay 40k compared to 200k for the redux that will bottom out at anytime
I’m liking Flacco a lot so far. Never had Aikman though. Gunslinger, SFL, and HRM x-factor is my perfect stack.

Lol no one does that. Anyone willing to pay that much for a card thats been out that long has no interest in a "rental"
Opinions like yours are usually delusional optimism by someone who owns a limited. I see them all the time on the AH for like 400k or more, when the redux is right next to it for like 200k and i laugh and roll my eyes. Its actually annoying when youre trying to buy a specific card and the supply at the moment is low. Would have taken me like two days less to get my adrian phillips if all the people putting up their limiteds for twice the market worth wouldve just come to terms with reality.
Long story short, if you have a limited (of an older card that has a redux already) and you dont want to keep it, just quicksell it.

This is untrue. yea, for Aikman, I'd QS him (Actually I think I did)...and I do QS a lot of LTDs that I had. But for a LTD card like Irvin or Spillane who have Reduxes, you'd be crazy to QS them. Spillane sells for 600K, Irvin as well. You'd lose 190K each card if you QS those Maxx sells for 800K. More than half of the 91 LTDs that have reduxes out there are selling for a lot more than you'd get by QS them.
And as far as reduxes go, look at Dawkins as an example. His redux is selling for 500-600K easy..

Using the same stack and I like him better than Aikman. Dan the Man is a closer comparison though. Not sure I like Flacco over Dan

I find people like you to be hilarious. You come on here and try to put down and belittle someone for how they utilize their coins the way they wish. It makes you sound like even more of a jackass than what you're trying to paint him out to be. Why the hell would you spend 250k on a redux when that card ultimately loses value and drops down to 100k? On the flip side you buy an LTD for 390k, with the option to sell at any time for 350k. You don't sound very intelligent, but even the dumbest fool knows, that 390-350= 40 coin loss, vs 250-100= 150 coin loss.

I didnt account for goofy people who actually BUY them. Ive never seen one sell. Like I said same exact card as redux version, and by time they have a redux they are older cards too. Cant imagine anyone knowingly buying one as an attempted "rental" (the original "rentals" earlier in the year made sense as the quicksell was often around or at lease near, the price youd have to buy it on the AH. they arent anymore.
LTDs have gone way up for new prices and quicksell has remained the same 350. I can only imagine if they ever do sell its mostly it not all people ignorant of these facts/fooled by card art etc. Wouldnt surprise me, i regularly see people list items for sale at prices that mean they are literally taking a loss by noy quickselling that item lol alot of people just dont know better. 🤷♂️
