Dude, honestly, if I built my team with players with high motors, it would be better than that . Honestly, I have a 99 O and 99 D. Only reason my team isn't 99 OVR is my P and K.
You wouldn't beat me or my team with that squad unless you were just a better Madden player. It would have nothing to do with their traits. But 2 players of equal skill playing each other, my team would beat that team. Most of the best players have high motor anyway but there are traits like drops open passes, etc that factor in. You can also put chems that players fight for additional yards so even w/o a high motor trait they will fight for those 2-3 yards. You can have WRs with honorary lineman trait that will block better than "high motor" trait TEs.
You have to be more careful when saying how some team built on a website's team builder is going to "take down" some "wimpy" 99 OVR team.
If you played Henry or even Throne and they had one of those "99 OVR wimpy" teams you were talking about, they'd likely destroy you no matter what cards you put on your squad.. And I know because I've played them.
No offense here but, if you wanna brag on your team's "grit" that's cool...just not a good idea to talk abou how you'd beat other "wimpy" teams.

No biggie.......just sometimes people get carried away and hung up on certain things. The whole point is to play with players you like and enjoy the game. IRL I love high motor guys. I was one myself in HS and college. Always the dirtiest uniform, that was me. Played both O and D. So I can appreciate guys who go all out instead of guys who take plays off (like Moss for example, who was notorious for this)
