I think most adjustments are going to be made as far as Theme teams after the abilitlies go down .

like you really enjoyed Calvin with that two speed burst - maybe look at getting a lion theme going on . Stuff like that

how about instead… raise the cap and discount the current snow abilities. Make only champions and LTDs have 0 ap abilities for playoffs. Boom, keeps everyone happy

I’m interested to see what they do with the 0AP buckets once Chill is over. Hopefully they still keep some sort of discounts so the cards hold some kind of value. Also, The promo and the cards have been great but the speed boost was a little much. I’m ready for it to go away just to make more cards viable. Like why would I use anyone else when I have 3-4 99 speed guys?

I concur that it will be interesting to see what MUT looks like on 1/10/25.   

My thought is that the powers that be at EA realized that engagement and overall satisfaction with the game was at an all-time high prior to Zero Chill, and realized that they had to come up with a great program to reengage players.  I feel like they accomplished that part, but my concern is that EA has no "exit plan" from Zero Chill and all of the 0 AP abilities that they handed out like candy on Halloween. Those abilities certainly can't go back to pre-ZC AP prices, or everyone will just turn them off and then run cards without abilities.    Now, that would be awesome if the base game was playable without abilities, but it really isn't.   My thought on what they do is:

1. Most abilities that are 0 AP now will be 1-2 AP on 1/10.  The more OP ones will be 2-3 AP.

2. They will raise AP limits on both Offense and Defense to 10-12 to accommodate some of the extra abilities, but we clearly won't be able to keep all of the abilities that are free now.

3. They will now subsequently repeat this same 0 AP thing, on a smaller scale, with the subsequent promos, especially the major ones like Playoff, Super Bowl, etc.

I gotta say I love the game. I love the style of play, but once you go on head to head and you play a person with a god squad, it’s a rap. I mean, you could play as good as you can, but they’ll still win, especially if they got Like a zero chill or a freaking ghost of mut  and. 40/40 theme team or some crap I mean, I played online a few times, but I just felt like there are so many teams with like high overalls and then there are so many teams that are moderate. It’s just not that fun when you play someone that’s not as good as you, but it’s still not as fun when you playing someone that’s 10 times better than your team Cause of all the chems all I will say, though is that fullback Dontari Poe and that tight end, Larry Allen, which should be secondary fullback  are solid  - I have yet to try corner Ted Hendrix, free safety, Mike Parsons or I’m waiting for the price to drop on Van Noy cause I actually like that card for some reason he’s got a lot of strength, but yeah, I love this promo, but I can’t wait to see what happens next if they keep this going this could be nice if they fumble in the playoffs like some teams do well it’s been a fun ride  💯🫡( my favorite card is linebacker Sean Taylor and Aiden Hutchison- tylernubin is a beast —-from this promo weirdest card but it works is middle linebacker Tyreek Hill, ( that Free safety Warren sapp is disappointing )which I wish was a corner, but he’s got like 99 jump which helps out because he only got like a 59 510 most frame    that my opinion lol

Will the chemistry boosts go away along with the melted abilities?

happened to me but they had Calvin.

Couldn't be any more sick of it. It has lasted way too long and I probably won't be able to tolerate it beyond Jan. 1 and will take a break until the boosts go away on Jan. 9. I've noticed that the teams with boosted ZC defensive lines that meta blitz are almost impossible to play against. I'm ready for the crazy high ratings to go away and hopefully get away (at least a little) from the crazy arcade feel the game has had over the last week or so.

The problem is there's nothing left to do.  People wouldn't be selling their ZC teams right now if there was an ability to progress in the game.  Just stupid to have rewards run out at the end of seasons and promo's.  There's no more reason to play.
