...against Secure/Edge Protectors? I keep seeing people recommend Inside Stuff and DON but I thought SP and EP completely counters them? Can we settle this once and for all?
I still run them even though people say there are hard counters. At the end of the day, theres always RNG with Madden so just because your tackles have Secure Protector, that doesn’t mean people will never get in for pass rush. It just increases the chance that they won’t get a quick shed. I don’t believe anything in this game is a 100% hard counter. Everything is just increased odds.
I’ve been running DOE and ETE elite on my ends, even though SP and EP are the counters. My guys have been getting home or pressure pretty often. However with the new Gus the bus card, I pulled ETE off my ends last night so I could free up some AP for secure tacklers. Not sure if my pass rush is going to change or not, haven’t played a game since making the change to only DOE on the edge. Still running IS on my DTs and they get in on most runs.
