Any word on how S2 players are supposed to get to 89 ?

Because the tokens from the store end at 87 and there's literally ONE token to get to 88. 
This looks like another f-up like the missing level offers in the store that are missing - I believe those we're refreshed every season last year.

Probably time-gated, and to be released with a later program.

My guess is the same as what Eagles215 said, EA is just waiting until we get to that 89 ovr base
