I have universal coverage on all my cbs. As well as my safeties. Lately players have been mossing my corners and sometimes the knockouts don’t even work. I don’t understand. I thought UC was supposed to be good.

If they have Double Me (double coverage) or Red Zone Threat (single coverage) on their player & they do an aggresive catch you’re knockouts wont do nothing as thats the counter to it & Marvin Jr gets Double Me as an ability usually its an x-factor & Red Zone Threat only works when their receiver is in the Red Zone
also Matchup nightmare against single coverage does the same thing if you agressive catch I have that on my 2 LTD WR’s Puka Nucua & Mike Evans & they never get the ball KO on their RAC or Aggressive catches with single coverage
Like said above, I believe UC gets countered by certain catching abilities.
Revis and Nnamdi have allowed catches that would normally be KOd, but usually on shorter routes
I don’t hate it, bc on the flip side, it lets me complete passes

Are you using pick artist on any of those players? I feel like my players with pick artist go for INTs more often which sometimes leads to them getting mossed. I think some pick animations won't trigger a KO even if you have one equipped.

i Thought that was the case because I used to run those abilities on my receivers but they always got knocked out. Which is why I stopped running those abilities. It’s just frustrating lol.

I actually am because I don’t want my players to get tired after the interception If I try to run it back for the pick 6.

Mine has been working just fine, only things that don’t get KOd are poss catches.
there are no WR abilities That truly counter KOs. DM will give you the jump on the ball, but second you get touched, it’s knocked out.

Heres what will probably be an unpopular opinion: "Nerfs" and "buffs" shouldnt exist in any game. At least not to the drastic and frequent extent they do currently. Make it right the first time. And stand by it.
This game STILL gives out "illegal contact" for defenders trying to fight through blocks 20 yards downfield AFTER a pass is completed and the runner is running behind said block. Game is a joke. People who score easier than they stop probably arent even that good. They just dont know it.

The whole "illegal contact" penalty system in MUT needs to be revamped and hopefully will in MUT 25. There are have been times when my user has been called for it while just running stride for stride with a WR/TE, and there have also been times when my user and my opponents user have pumped a WR off or just straight up ran over a wr over the middle of the field beyond the 10 yard line and nothing has been called.

That’s what I’m saying man 😂 I’m not a fan of knockouts at all. I think they’re stupid. But it is the meta and there’s no way you can win a game without them. Which is why I run them. Only to find out UC, which should be the best ability in the game for defense, barely works😂. It’s crazy how abilities determine the games now. Not the actual player card you have.
