planing on playing him at slot receiver and I'm wondering if phenom helps against catch knockouts.?
If your worried about knockouts then why not use the rac x factor?

Not worried about knockouts just wondering if phenom works on past catching since the description is worded differently than freight train.

Phenom does work on passing plays, which is why it's better than Freight Train.

What do you mean working on passing plays?we know it works after the catch but are you saying phenom disables knockouts?
Are you sure? It’s possible, but I haven’t tested it.

It doesn't disable knockouts. It does give you the first one free or freight train effect on pass plays though when Flash gets the ball.

Of course it works after the catch lol. I can confirm this.
not sure if it disables knockouts though. Only thing I’ve seen that can do that is max security or possession catches.

Does not negate catch knockout.
Labbed against Dion in Tampa cover two.
10 plays only one completion.

Lol he's killing people from the slot for me. Stiff arm or spin moves after the catch.
Was worried about beating pressed coverage but he win almost every time. And runs smooth corner routes against zone or man. He's my slot until Calvin available.
Honestly, it's not a good place for him.
At this point in the game there are too many great WR's that you don't want to take one off the field for a gadget player.
Playbooks that take the RB and line him outside are fine but I wouldn't waste a spot for him constantly.

Agreed.
That being said, he could fit my scheme perfectly sometimes going out wide.

I flip between a few playbooks and every one of them have plays where the RB lines up outside.
id rather just have him play HB screen plays

I'm going to have to disagree with you. He gets short in for 0 AP deep out for 1 AP and his route running are all over 90. And with phenom activated he makes the first guy Miss or simply runs through the first tackle attempt. He's also a better run blocker than my three top WR. He checks all my requirements for my slot position over 6 ft over 220 over 75 str over 65 run bl aggressive and sideline catch player traits. EA made him a beast that can play any offensive skill position.
