Missed the glitches so feel like I’m a month behind everyone else’s team. Kinda ruined the CUT mode of CFB for me. Still going to play regs and probably Dynasty, but playing against teams that are 86 (and still have a few mill in coins) vs my 78 got old real quick.

I hate to hear stories like this out of the gate. The Ultimate Team model rewards winning, and the best teams win, so the best teams earn more rewards, and go on to win more. When the glitch train comes in and you're not there, it's a tremendous setback, and illegitimate though it is, everyone who was there when they needed to be benefits tremendously.
I'm sorry for you, and I hope you have an opportunity to catch up in the months to come.

I haven't left MUT because I have not completed the Comp Pass or the Field Pass or the Rookie Premier Pass.
EA........If you are going to make us play these passes through at your pace and you limit the amount of progress I can make when I have time to play, it is going to keep me from participating in other games.

Honestly idk why people keep complaining about this, 1 EA isn’t going to fix it, 2. I myself missed both glitches and I’m doing perfectly fine with my 79-80 over team

As mentioned in another thread recently, some of us only get away from work or family for video games at times when the servers are disproportionately populated by degenerates and career Ultimate Team players.
This is a significant complaint. If you're one of the Madden 1%, an arrogant ambivalence about competitive balance doesn't change the complaint's validity within the larger competitive ecosystem.

I think you are really getting to the crux of the matter. I work 50-60 hours a week at my job so have like an hour for games after work. Sure, I could spend money on the game and truck people, but I think it's silly to spend $50/week on a game that only cost $70. Just my 2c.

Sure I’m 17 years old and still a kid but sir respectfully I’m in the United States Military, I probably don’t have nearly as much time to the game as you do except for weekends and I definitely don’t make as much as you to potentially spend on the game.

I‘m personally using the college game as a break from the UT hamster wheel by enjoying Dynasty.
I played a few solos in UT but once the glitches hit I couldn’t justify playing 40 solos for a BND 79 when everyone else got instantly boosted just by sheer luck.
I’m kind of glad it happened because it forced me to give up on the mode and relax until MUT.

Dynasty in CFB is 🔥. Thats the game mode I’ve been playing. Recruiting is demoralizin though 😂

Trying to hype myself up for the potential of Dynasty mode, but i'm not trying to role play some middle-aged coach trying to drop into DMs of various high school kids to convince em they wanna invest their formative years in whatever podunk location i'm attempting to rebuild. But i'm open to having my mind changed, as i obviously do not get it.
I want to just plop on the couch and casually enjoy some mindless football simulation when i get done with wr0k. If i need to sweat it out I'm sure M24 MUT isn't going anywhere between now and August. Was really hoping to take next year off (from MUT), but i already know i'm going to get suckered into the MVP Bundle. If we're getting college, might as well grab both.

Many evenings i'm so tired i just want to mindless mash buttons and not be forced to out sweat some foul mouthed little dweeb from the back country, but there's rarely a dull moment.
My wife still gives me strange looks when I engage and inevitably end up feeding the trolls. At least she hasn't encountered any actual shouting matches in a minute. The worst was the kid who hopped on the mic the other evening to say, "Hey. Hey. Hey man, sorry to do this to you, BUT..." and he proceeded to freeze/pause/penalty glitch the rest of the game until it booted me and he got the "win" despite knowing he was outclassed. He didn't even try, it was literally only 7-3 in the 2nd quarter. I almost have to respect the fact that he knows he's a loser and cannot actually win. If it weren't so damn grimy and SO easy to avoid. Stupid PSN Tournament play.
Prior to that I was actually having fun racking up the $5 gift cards, one per hour -- figured another weekend of this and i could pay for CFB25, heh. Although Sony takes their sweet ass time sending those out, it'll be October before i actually see any codes (gift card credits) delivered to my account.
