Anyone else absolutely love playing man coverage🤪

I love getting matched up against dudes who just call all out blitzes all came and just get absolutely destroyed on defense easiest Ws in the game imo. I like to call it lazy defense because you just sit back and let the cpu do all the work also I started running short in and route tech (sin I know) but it works with my scheme and the plays I call. usually these types of players get all heated and message  because their KO’s don’t work with against short in/route tech

Feel the same way but its when I lose they message me calling me trash when all they did was run spinner and tight offset.

Haha seriously why are people so weird on madden. i run zone and lately I’ve been running into people who do streaks that start inside and then head towards the sideline and unless I manually put the corner deeper he’s not gonna be able to cover it and a lot of players have been using that lately

Playing against MCV you know what your up against and what you need to do. Guys will put blitzing defenders into ZCV and try to take away your best routes with their user but all you need to do is make your reads. Some guys are much better at It than others but I'd rather face MCV than ZCV for the most part.

It's the most fun when you play someone who thinks they know what they're doing because of youtube but really they don't. By the time they realize their mistake George Kittle or Harold Carmichael is 20 yards downfield and they can't catch up. 

I love those "forget someone?" moments.

lowkey everyone should have a brain dead offense and defense. If they can’t stop it don’t take risks with ultra complicated zone or dink n dunk curl flat Concepts

I don't know how people do it, you have a full playbook, learn some situational plays and have fun. enjoy the chess game. folks that only have 2 plays on offense and defense are missing out on good comp. every time i get cursed out or messaged "i hope you die" i know ive broken their spirit.

its been an interesting comeback to M23 with these abilities though.

Definitely. I can still respect someone who runs the same formation the entire game if they've learned how to best utilize it... the same cannot be said for someone who runs a glitched play like PA Shot Seams every play expecting it to work. 

The most fun I've had all year has been playing H2H after workshopping my team and offensive scheme around the Singleback Deuce Close formation... I can run 90% of the plays in the formation from 49ers playbook at peak effectiveness, only excluding some PA passes which take too long to develop for a competitive MUT game.

totally agree. I've run the saints playbook forever, split offset, singleback /gun bunch are my plays. of course tight offset TE is great, sad to hear its been exploited and i may have to learn a NEW book lol. once i learned i never activated my abilities , and learned i have to have a solid o-line, the game was much more fun. i started in april so i haven't had time to hate as much as others. been a lucrative year for me, don't know if its because the trade block is closed. the GT situation this year is wild, that may be the ONE thing i'd complain about

Thought I was the only one who had this happening to them most players I play now have a zone beater for cover 2, 3, and 4.

I was beating people with Ronnie Brown at QB while they run man. 90% of the time it's an easy W, people just expect things to work far too often instead of actually trying to analyze the game and move away from things that aren't working anymore. Thats the biggest problem with running a youtube defense or anything copycat that you didn't come up with. When your 2 plays don't work anymore you don't have a fall back, you don't know why it's broke because you didn't create it and they didn't cover that in the youtube video so now you don't know how to fix it.

Until you play a maniac that mixes in different zones to go with the man coverage and every one of your route abilities is cancelled out by osa or shades. Than you might rethink liking to play against man.
