I run through every regular season undefeated, lock up everyone, force turnovers, score with ease... i get to the playoffs and all of a sudden everyone runs free and my receivers can't get open to save their life.

I'm a pretty decent scrub (win like a little over 50% overall) and haven't even made the playoffs yet, so you're doing much better than most probably, but a small subset which is majority on here probably did better

i don't know how many times i choked in my superbowl in that event. I was having the same trouble. I breezed through the season and then my team just fucking sucked in the playoffs and superbowls

I will agree it does seem like the match up in the Superbowl always seems to be against a harder opponent...

Granted i havent played a ton of that mode but I also havent won any in the other modes either lol

I won Super Bowl. I make it to the playoffs about every time and win one game at least. It is tough to win one.

do you get anything if you do not win your SB? I didn't get to play the event unfortunately. strapped for time until after thanksgiving with work and moving

even if you lose you get CC, and if you win 3-4 games in a season the candy corn rewards are pretty decent, had one season where I missed the playoffs by one game but in general the candy corn rewards are decent even if you don't win a ton

I needed a little candy today for my BND 90 so played some Monster Mayhem. Went undefeated, rallied from behind a couple games, and my Conference Championship game was won in the last seconds. Thought my Super Bowl would be too hard. Some E-book goon who thought he was in the MCS. Ran trips bunch offset O and 6-1 Even D. I shredded his cheese with ease. I ended being able to afford the auction able 90 now

Just won on my 2nd trip to the Monster Mash SB. I do well in these special events, won a couple Darren Waller's in the last event.. but my season record is a few games over .500 and no bowls. strange.

1. You only match up with ppl who are in the playoffs so there's ELO. Regular season is a joke. Ir's too easy
2. Im not a comp player but I went 15-1 in mut champs and won 4/5 SB in Mayhem. Competition is tougher but it's not like all-pro Legend Season where there's ELO is every matchmaking.

I believe the matchmaking is different for the SB.
Multiple times I played regular season games against people in their wildcard or divisional round games. And vice versa. But as for the SB, I think it's the SB for both opponents, i.e. in your SB you play against someone who is their SB too.
