I suspect the answer is "of course it is" but wanted to confirm from someone with first hand knowledge.
I don't think the Beta was on old gen. EA only mentioned it being on ps5, xbox series x/s, and pc.
I would suspect it still is though since I doubt they're making huge changes to old gen madden.

Thanks... guess we'll see in a couple weeks. We just need a good lefty punter or kicker early in the year. Scottish Hammer was a life saver for me!
The fg glitch has been in the game since Mut 22 and 23. EA already said they won’t be fixing or patching the game on old gen.
Last year they didn't have a beta for old gen. I guarantee you that keep the FG block glitch in old gen which is absolutely insane,I still cant believe they kept it in this year. Im about to move up to new gen but I like old gen madden alot other than the FG block glitch. I could play another year on old gen and be content but I really want to see what new gen madden is like. I find it mind boggling that EA would keep in the FG block glitch considering alot of people still play on old gen and I'm sure they still make a ton of money from mut on old gen. Its so lazy and disrespectful for them to keep in something that changes how the game can be played in a competitive setting. Not being able to kick FG's or extra points changes the game

I gave current gen four days and cannot see myself playing that version of the game. I's just too slow for my taste. I'm now playing the old gen game on my xbox series x... and will likely be playing M24 that way. I like being able to user all over the field.
To be honest... I'm now used to the FG block exploit and can play around that. In fact... if my opponent tries to use it against me, I'll come right back at him with it... and it just becomes part of the game. Subbing in left-footed Scottish Hammer goes a long way to countering (not stopping) it.

not sure if you can transfer from old gen to next gen for m24
something to consider before actually starting m24 old gen

It would be weird if you weren't able to transfer from old gen to next gen.
I have to imagine you'll be able to transfer since the deluxe edition offers both versions.
But you're right, I'm not sure it's been confirmed.

I believe I read that your RPs that were made on old gen M23 would show up on either old gen or current gen M24 when you first start up M24. But then that's it... they won't transfer over to the other console if you decide to switch. So it will be important to pick which console at the very beginning and stick with it. You won't be able to go back and forth like we do now.

Well it's a good thing then that I decided to play another year on the XBoxOne version of the game. Because I would have been hella pissed if I bought the new console and started up my Series X version of the game and my 32 RP players didn't show up on my account. If it's true then it really sucks for anyone moving to current gen at the start of M24 if they've invested in rookie premier players.
