It's that time of year again. Cover three with KO's everywhere. Just obnoxious to soundly beat someone's defense only to get tapped by the KO. I wish EA had an offensive ability to counter this. Or maybe they do? Any tips?
Giftwrapped is probably the closest thing you’ll get. Try free forming more passes I’ve found that helps me get the ball further away from the KO player

This didn’t work for me. I have gift wrapped & free formed 4 passes in a row to Megatron with his xfactor activated and they were all drops.

Appreciate that, but no luck with GW and it's typically not a free form issue for cover three. I attack the seams and the sidelines for tight window throws only for them to have a single high safety with deep in and two outside corners with deep out. It ends up a dink and dunk fest with RPO's thrown in. Just ends up being a lame game.
Click on and make the catch and also run away from the KO at the catch point

Yea good call, I've been able to get away with some by low balling certain throws and Possession catching before they get there, but some of these windows are super tight right now. Just wish EA would create some kind of knock out resistance for receivers. You can pretty much counter anything else in the game except for this.
Possession catch most of the time when you can.
Has anyone noticed its been kind of inconsistent the past couple of days(not talking about the sideline possession bug). For both my opponents and my players, a player will catch it and get hit by a KO player but will still come down with it in the field of play. It seems to light up and hits the wr, but it doesn't get knocked out. I would rather it be a 100% even when it knocks my wr down then it to only work randomly if that makes sense. I imagine its random, bc im def not big brain or know something like a high ball/ abilites etc to prevent it and I sometimes come down with balls that should get knocked out.
That's exactly my defense. The hell with ppl throwing nothing but corner routes. They go dumb whenever the corners aren't working anymore and it's beautiful. Having 30 yard purples still don't cover them
I counter it by running the ball and not throwing the ball into their coverage...I had luck with possession catching. I try and counter whatever my opponent is doing...if they have most of their AP loaded up on DBs...then I exploit their DL...if the DL is where the AP is...then I throw it at the vulnerable DBs. I don't think there is a "one size fits all" scheme...I try and make my "scheme" flexible enough to play into my opponents strength.

This, but you have to use your brain for that and most people like to watch a youtube video and copy it
