AP update suggestion.

Y'all think it'd be a good idea to only bump up the AP slots for D? I feel like with the way defense is, they're at such a disadvantage and this would be a good way to even the odds. A lot of the better abilities on D don't get used because you kind of need quantity over quality to stop everything on O. I could be dead wrong but just wanted to see what people thought about this.

That’s actually a pretty good idea. I think the problem with defense is not being able to get a consistent pass rush considering you almost always have to rush only 3 to get a couple extra safeties/cover linebackers on the field for extra zones. If people go into extra TE or RB sets, you should be able to go into 3-4 or 4-3 to shut it down. But whenever you do that, you’re taking the risk of getting torched down the field. If there was a way to get line abilities on the entire line while having acros & KO’s, it could play a lot better. It’s really actually stupid if you think about how nickel & dime blitzes can be better for runs with how the game plays, it literally makes zero football sense. If you only rush 3 down linemen you should get blasted in the run consistently, even if you’re sending extra DB’s.

Been wanting to use an edge threat elite but the AP limit makes it a bit tough. An AP buff would definitely help improve pass rush for sure
