Apparently worsening your team is now a 'method' to play Defense in MUT

Anyone that starts a sentence with "Bro"  is most likely the one who does not understand  .  ELO is for keeping games competitive  , like in every game .   A regular player is not playing Pros . If you believe in DDA then win % for everyone would be somewhere in the 50 to 56 %  rate which it  is not . Now that being said if it makes you feel better when you lose to blame the boogey man I'm ok with that to .

Not true. DDA isn't designed to MAKE YOU LOSE. It's designed to handicap you so you sweat it out. You're more likely to lose, but that's it.

The top players excuse doesn't fly because the top players use exploits. With that said, I've seen plenty of youtube videos of pros getting hoed because of DDA to keep the game close.

The top players are playing the top players .  The pros  win 10 games in gauntlet and finish top 100  , so they are not getting "hoed" as you say . The game is 100 % inconsistent always  has been . DDA if you believe in it is to give one team an unfair advantage in most games that is all you need , again if you believe in it  .

Wrong. DDA is designed to keep the game close. You keep claiming, "it doesn't give you wins, therefore it doesn't exist" is a nonsensical argument.

Again, the pro argument doesn't fly either. I've watched footage of Henry playing a scrub online and he's dominating. The score is 21-0. Then by the end of the third, it's 21-14 because of a tipped interception. 

I guarantee the people who don't believe in DDA, are the low tier players who don't notice it because they benefit from it. Those are the players that are losing every game they play, then at the end they squeak out a win by 3. I'm Legend/Top 100 every season, I don't rely on Rng, so when I play an opponent that does, it's EXTREMELY noticeable.

I played a game yesterday where I was dominating 10-0. I know when I'm facing a terrible opponent, and this guy was trash. I had just got an INT and I'm in FG range. I'm running the ball (2nd quarter, 40 seconds left) to get in better FG position and possibly put the game out of reach (I was getting the ball to start the 3rd). 

My VERY FIRST CARRY with my RB, on conservative, I get non-green hitsticked by a coverage safety, and my RB fumbles just before he runs out of bounds. The ball also doesn't roll out of bounds, and allows the defense to pick it up. My opponent then calls THE EXACT SAME PASS PLAY that got picked off, this time the WR mosses the X-FACTOR HOT DB, shakes off the tackle, and takes it to the house. In two bullshit plays, the game is now 10-7. The AI literally made the game competitive for him. The user had done NOTHING.

DDA is 100% real. If you're a low-tier player, of course you're going to make excuses for benefitting from it.

All of this is SO TRUE. So many times I've been ahead in games and then before  I feel like it's going to be a blow out, out of no where my WR's start dropping passes, suddenly the other teams CB's are sticking like glue, they get every single 50/50 ball.. Now don't get me wrong, I've also benefitted from it. Sometimes when I'm down it feels like every hit stick turns into a fumble..

I sincerely don't know how you can play this game and deny that DDA exists. I'm 100% sure that the elite players are also well aware it's there. What this game has turned into is literally who is the best at exploiting the games terrible coding. But if you jump ahead in a game and your opponent stays in the match.. All of a sudden they'll become unstoppable. This isn't just one game this happens. This is literally about every game where I go up big that it's very noticeable and undeniable.

And yes, as someone stated I believe it's for engagement. If the newer players are coming in getting blown out do you really think they're going to be buying packs? EA knows they've already got the whales addicted and buying packs.. They also want the newcomers money as well.. Best way to do that is to keep the game close so the newcomer says "Aw man! I could've won that game if it weren't for my crappy WR, time to buy a WR" and then suddenly you're buying packs.

Also, to someone else's point about lower ovr's over performing I can fully attest. I went on a losing streak at one point and got mad and sold all of my team except for the Vikings players making a theme team. What happened afterwards was I went undefeated with my theme team which was rated terribly.. Beating whales with superior teams along the way literally making people quit before half time before losing in the Superbowl.

I had one player that kind of outshined the rest in Stephon Gilmore. You literally could not throw in his direction. I had 3 pick 6's with him before the season ended. He's far from the best corner but was consistently locking superior WR's down. 

What has happened since is I bought a good team again, played 3 games after work today and all 3 of the people I faced they was in their playoff game. I haven't played as good as I did since I sold my team.

Honestly, it might be a coincidence, or it might be Madden allowing you to play the less skilled players since your OVR is lower.. But something is up.. And to completely deny all of these undeniable facts is astounding.

I just played a game where I'm up 17-0 to end the half. 15 seconds left, the opponent throws up a hail mary duck, my db bats it down and a random receiver (not the one he threw it to) comes out of nowhere with a speed boost and catches the tipped ball for a TD.

The game ends up being close (just as intended). I still win a 4 point game, 24-21. The algo blessed him the entire second half until the end.

Can't tell me the game isn't scripted to keep the game close. Like I stated before, the ones that disagree are the bums that benefit from it.
