powered up sweat fully and I'm using njoku 2 away from max, he is still 92 spd and very good
both
Ive quick sold absolutely everything I’ve gotten to get snow and I upgraded both, also got the upgrade token for jeudy(will probably
move the token to Keion White next week when he comes out, for the boosts to my Pats 40/40 TT, will also be picking up the 93 Rhomondre next week when he comes out, also splurged for Hamilton today. Teams looking great - my strategy is with how bad the preswnts were last year and how bad the +s have been on packs this year, most presents seem useless and will not touch the Njoku and Sweat cards except the super high end presents. No reason to keep the smalls/mediums just to pull an 82+ card. IDE rather just build up existing names
peatrick said:92 BSH (with boosts) isn't sufficient? Julius Peppers only has 94 base block shed... it's not terrible. I'm more concerned with the fact that he uses both his mid Power & elite Finesse moves... in a perfect world, he'd only use Spin & Swim moves, alas, he's also got Bull Rush Move \= Yes
but 86 isn't complete doo-doo, but it's definitely not elite. I'm using him, opposite Julius Peppers, both with 0AP No Outsiders. My pass rushers are nearly as fast as most elite wide receivers, so it's really difficult to complain. They can haul down nearly any QB from behind that takes off to scramble. For me, personally, getting the appropriate abilities on the field is more important than stressing about the less than ideal stats. YMMV.
I stand corrected and will be upgrading Sweat ASAP!
Since I have bear chem up to 20 I’m doing sweat plus I never ran a sweat card before lol

We're all here learning (and evaluating) the new content together -- i went back and forth on this, initially overlooked BOTH, then started by upgrading Njoku. Excellent move, wish I had done it sooner, but i didn't want to bench the 93 George Kittle i just stumbled into from lucky pack pull... before ultimately finding my way to Montez Sweat, as well. No regrets, he and Julius Peppers are potentially the two most elite edge rushers in the entire game, IMO. Not really any premier pass rush abilities (yet), but having a couple 0AP No Outsiders gives me confidence that i won't get absolutely cooked in the run game, even from 3 down-linemen sets.

With Sweat's free edge threat, he had 2 sacks and an IMMEDIATE impact in his first game. I don't know the cost, but upgrading both Sweat and Njoku I believe is cheaper than buying a 93 Zero Chill player and they are must have's!

Almost my entire defense is schemed around "bend but don't break" philosophy, while hoping to force my opponent to work for every yard and ultimately make a mistake. Because of that, I find opponents who lean on the run game to be incredibly annoying and frustrating (I often Pass Commit which gets me TORCHED in run defense). Therefore, I'm now running a pair of No Outsiders, with Inside Stuff on big Cameron Heyward, who is quite possibly the best DT in the entire game, at least that I've used.
After 26 games of H2H (mostly Ranked & MUT Champs):
- Sweat (RE) - 3 Sacks, 2 Pass Deflections, 3 Forced Fumbles
- Heyward (DT) - 4 Sacks, 1 Pass Deflection, 2 Forced Fumbles
Still waiting for either to grab one of those shoe-string D-line picks, Julius Peppers has two (across 88 games). Overall, I'm very pleased with D-line play. Glad to hear your similarly glowing reviews. Zero Chill basically saved Madden for me. HATE that abilities exist, but first time all year I've felt we at least have a chance on defense.
Took us a minute, but I think we both finally stumbled into the success we were hoping for. At least until January 9th. 🥶

So you're the guy causing me fits by rushing 3 and dropping in cover 4 quarters? :)
Seriously, with the promo going as long as it is, it's worth investing now. Regular new cards only are used for about a month anyway, so I fugure why not supercharge your team around the best promo of the year.

Could not agree more and I, too, basically went ALL IN for Zero Chill promo. Happy Christmas to us. I've got a week off coming up, already enjoying the investment more than most months, having quite a lot of fun all of a sudden. And yes, I've basically become a Cover 4 merchant at this point. Cover 3 is just asking to get burned, especially Seams to Slot/TE, etc.
However, I also try to work in a heavy rotation of Match & Cover 2 Man (although rarely, only to make opponents prove they can reliably beat Man Press attempts)... and have a couple/few four-man blitzes to try and catch opponents by surprise, especially if they're not setting up protections before snapping the ball.
tbh I was thinking about it but didn’t, I‘m still using kincaid since I have a 55+ chem bills tt and he still works great for me, instead I invested the snow into an extra large present hoping for a good return on it later in the month

I'm running the same TT. Share your team if you can.
theyre both the best itg at their position lmao
