Question about the bruiser ability: it gives stronger animations (and they do look cool), but it seems like the animations take longer and you just get swarmed by the rest of the defense. I'm not sure it's practically beneficial to shatter one tackle just to be smothered by 2 other tacklers for no additional yardage. Does anyone that have experience/thoughts on this ability?
I'm thinking about putting it on Bo.

I used it on Nick Chubb’s redux earlier in the year, and I think you’re right. There is a higher chance that the animation works and you successfully truck/stiff arm the defender, but it takes longer and you get tackled two seconds later.
I prefer to just run arm bar because its easier to truck than get a good stiff arm
The best thing to do is
1. Sell Bo
2. Buy a elusive back
3. Put evasive on it
This year I think Elusive backs are just so much better.

I had it on Captain Shaun Alexander. Glad I'm not crazy. The animations are very satisfying though. XD

Interesting, does the stiff arm animation play longer with arm bar or does he just put defenders in the ground and keep moving? I might have to give this a try.

Ive experienced the same thing, I would use arm bar and the Bo Knows X Factor on Bo

My daily driver was Chris Johnson with Human Joystick, and I still have him without 🕹️ currently active. I know people say 🕹️ is trash but I like it on CJ. Might even try it on Bo, Bo Knows is pretty dope though for the same cost. I'm also thinking about finding a 2-back playbook (open to recommendations) and running them both at the same time. I want to give Sugar Rush Barry a go but ... see below, and I have other roster needs to fill first.
I won't sell Bo. I keep cards for the most part, probably a holdover of card collecting as a kid. Plus, I fangirl for Bo as he was, imo, the biggest "what if" in sports history. My family was from Kansas City, too, and I've never seen a baseball player with so much speed and power, and that cannon of a right arm. I just got him for 270k and I'm enjoying playing with him a lot. The trucking and stiff arm animations with bruiser are so savage that I just wanted to see if they really are slower animations or if I was imagining things.

I agree that Bruiser is awesome! There's nothing like smashing through and throwing back defenders, it's very fulfilling. But have you noticed the animations are slower to the point you're getting tackled within a couple yards anyway?

I don’t like Bruiser, as stiff arms barely work on Current Gen. I’m a huge fan of Bulldozer, though
