Ban wave - legendary strat cards

As title states.  Stay away from these for a minute.  Crazy.  Half of MUT community seems to have gotten hit already.  Feel free to vent here as I’m too PO’d to keep typing atm.

*and no I didn’t flip them.  I bought 1 then realized it was wrong chem and sold.  Then bought 2 correct matching ones.  10 million coins was my entire team I just sold.  I know how people try to accuse but nobody banned tonight did anything wrong.

Probably banned moreso because you sold off your team and had a huge influx of coins.

I bought 2 of these, on Thurs but didn't sell them. Will check in a bit to see.

Where did u see half of MUT community banned?

Could be some correlation between high coin stacks and bans I guess. Especially if those people have all those coins and no team.

I just looked into it.  I have 12mil coins. Yesterday I sold LTD Lamar, MF Carmichael and Peppers. Thursday spent like 800K in Legendary strat cards ...

I was able to get in ok, have all my coins, and access to the AH.

Looks like it's people that were flipping and listing high possibly. Not sure what algorithms or triggers EA uses to ban but it's not a wave on legendary strat cards.

the buying of the cards is what would have triggered a flag if it was going to be triggered as purchasing at 500k+ as the automated system might of viewed it as coin distribution.

Nothing to do with selling off team..did that days ago.  Twitter is full of people with this issue.  All same thing…legendary strat cards.  Clearly they were the cause.  I’ve seen a dozen screenshots of people getting refunded for the game over this.  I’ll be another one if they don’t fix it.  I’ve only been playing this game since Sega.

I must have bought 40-50  cards for 500K or more this year already, have used all of them and sold back when a better card came out. 

I don't think buying a high priced card will get u banned unless it's the only one priced high (eg I bought Lamar for 1.3 but they were all going for that.... but if you but core A-Rod for 500K, yeah it could trigger something)

That's pretty strange. I don't believe they should have to ability to ban you from a product you paid for without at least telling you why. Is there any way to dispute a ban?

I Have read Twitter reddit,muthead, etc. It's not just a strat card issue. 

If you're sitting there flipping them then yeah you risk EA bots picking it up like TOS violation. 

But there's only 4 variations of legendary u can get so if you're selling and buying 6,7,8, 10 of these or so, u might get flagged.... but I'm telling you I've read over 200 posts from people who got hit and most didn't mention strat cards

I saw responses from EA just this morning and they were literally writing that their logs were down and they couldn't see the customer's activity and were actually begging customers to please be patient and wait 3-4 or.more hours for EA to even be able to address this. 

You'd be surprised at how poorly EA responds to stuff like this.  Until they research it which could be days later, they don't tell you why u got banned. And then when it's nonsense, which in many cases it is, they don't unban you for another few days.

I've had issues over the past 20 years of so with EA cust svce , never been banned fingers crossed, been pretty careful not to do things had would trigger and yet to follow TOS but I've seen and read tons of stories like the above

EA as a whole have just gone in the toilet. My favorite franchise used to be Battlefield. They've ruined that series just like they've slowly ruined this series and it has to be how EA is run. Probably a matter of time before they're swallowed up by Microsoft or Tencent and whether things get better after that happens is anyone's guess. Sure as hell can't get much worse.

I'm talking specifically the legendary card for 500k+. I along with thousands of other people have obviously  bought player cards for 500k plus but the system is likely false flagging accounts that bought the legendary cards at 500k+.
