Beating the Bottlenck META

Who has successfully found a way to counter it? I can score on it, but not consistently and as soon as I get stopped by it I typically lose the game. To the point where I almost quit out as soon as I see it because I know it is gonna be a miserable hell game that I'd just rather not deal with this late in the year I just don't care enough.

I also ran it for a few games to see how other people would beat it, here is what I've found...

Rollout Glitches away from the dline shift, with a massive amount of crossing routes

Lamb, and Herman Moore get Double me, max security, or RAC'em up which seems to counter the press.

Gun slot offset RPO peek zone bubble

Blocking HB and sliding line towards HB seems to pick it up consistently until they randomly get 2 disengages

How are you beating this meta?

For me personally I’ve packed up my lineup with vanguards, so if find someone running this scheme I can run if ur gonna dirt my receivers then im gonna run down ur throat and we’ll see who gets pissed of first and since most ppl who run this type of scheme are ass and can’t adjust most are wins on the off chance I get a sweat running it I quit out cuz I cant be bothered with this in June 😂

Ya that's fair. Depends on how they set up their dline I think. Some people stick with all the guys that get UF so they don't have the run stopping abilities. I'm using wilfork, sapp, oweh, hutchinson, mercilus so I have inside stuff, no outsiders, secure tackler, and if that doesn't do the trick I'll drop down to 61 which seems to help a lot vs the run.

Zig zags & quick slants always beat them also QB scrambling is an easy 10+ yards if you streak or long cross all your receivers just wait cor them to get 15+ yards ahead before running

thats my go to is just a quick QB scramble if they cover my read eventually they‘ll switch their coverage

ya one dude dotted me with spamming rollouts and running stuff like pa boot over, pa crossers etc...

How do you run on Nickel 3-3 cub? For some reason that formation completely boxes my runs.

I've seen it be both effective and not. It depends on who you have on your down line. I use sapp, and wilfork which I think makes it better. Some people are using hutch, and Oweh which doesn't get as good of animations vs run in my experience.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I still have yet to have any issues with this “Meta”. I have been using a strong close formation out of the Jets playbook. It has a lot of man beating plays in it and the ability to block your FB, TE, or RB helps with setting up the right protection so you can bomb cover 0.

Wait for crossers...the DBs will crash into each other leaving a WR wide open

You are playing with fire though, because there are instances when your wr/te's will crash into each other if they are both on crossers to the opposite sides of the field.
