Hey relatively new madden player here... what are the abilities i should be running on offense and defense on ps4? Maybe this will help me avoid getting killed every game lmao

This^^^ then maybe add inside stuff to some linemen if it suits you. I also really like Reach for it on HB, I get a lot of good animations on short yardage and goal line

I keep wondering if Protected is worth the addition
That with a post up on the center is 3 AP.
Add with HRM+GS +ID is 9 AP (7 AP with 99 Brady).

I’d say only gunslinger over escape artist tbh. Gunslinger has an effect on every single pass, escape artist will probably only account for 25-50% of plays

As long as i have a QB with 82 + speed and can get out of pocket when need be i am good. GS is a must have.

If you need an ability to help passing for lower AP, Pass Lead Elite works for me. Escape Artist i would say yes it is pretty necessary at this point because of what it allows you to do especially if you have Derrick Henry/Jalen Hurts/Russ. dudes that have upwards of 94 speed. With escape artist, you can sometimes just outrun contains and get free yards

If u have like 90 ovr team with Cunningham or vick or better at qb id run roaming quick draw escape artist, an ability on ur best o lineman, and spend the rest on backfield master or deep out elites. You can swap escape artist and slinger based on play style, but dont run both.

Does El Toro work if you are not usering the DL? I had read it did not.

Have found it works best on edge defenders or d tackles when pinching d line and crashing outside even without usering
