Lol...what user? The user you purposely slow down so I can't catch up to that crossing route? Then my "lurk artist"...even though I'm spamming "y" on Xbox doesn't jump...just ball.goes over head?

just played around with my defence and i have this set up:
1AP PA X factor Primetime CB
1AP PA X factor Ward CB
0AP LA X factor Watt LE
2AP PA ability Bates FS
2AP PA ability Tillman SS
1AP LA ability Simmons MLB
Then gonna user hendricks without it feel like when it ran out i was still getting user picks with him anyway. It’s nice on Simmons bc due to his high zone i like to let him roam on his own and switch to him as needed. LA works well on him for CPU interactions
Appreciate the detailed write-up, thank you very much. A lot of what you're saying mirrors my own thinking, ESPECIALLY the part about USERs playing just as well without LurkArtist as when it's active.
I'm not convinced ANY of these pass catching abilities are sufficient to override the buggy ass coding. Pass catching has been a problem at least 2+ years now, perhaps significantly more.
Early results on improved reaction times from Zone KO has been positive. Both Ronnie & Kerby have started coming down to make aggressive plays on the ball, getting picks in the process. So far, so good. Need more reps. 💪

thats why i don’t use it on my user. they catch the pick anyway as long as you time the triangle or Y button.
its good on CPU guys though. simmons always jumping routes and rarely drops it with LA on him

My tillman and bates were catching picks before when i didn’t have PA on them, but they seem to be catching it a lot more consistently now and when they jump routes they go for the pick now rather than a 50/50 chance of them swatting it previously
have also been getting user picks no issues with hendricks without LA. it may indeed just be a waste on a user controlled player ngl

Some mixed success tonight over quite a few games. Tomorrow I'll probably go back to PA and try to compare a full evening a game play using each philosophy.
THEN I'll probably try Mid Zone. Problem is I end up calling a variety of defenses, so things can be wildly inconsistent from game to game. Appreciate the feedback.
