I agree. But then there are those Madden nerds going "well, earl Campbell doesn't have two 0 AP ability buckets, so he's useless". I would rather someone with 99 stats across the board than someone with mediocre stats and an extra free ability.

Yeah it’s all very subjective. Some players just play different even if they aren’t all 99’s in every attribute as well.
