I suppose you could also try Ward at slot cb, Sherman and Revis as outside cb's, Khyree FS and Bavarro at SS and see which set up works better for your playstyle.

i currently have ward in the slot he has been doing great for me. im def going to try our what you have recommended once i get that revis card. I do like my safties having some height tho so i might keep revis in at cb.

I typically have the same mindset regarding height, but Ryan Clark's stack is unreal and he has been balling out for me.

Have to say i tend to agree with @mberezoski here, Ryan Clark is absolutely fantastic and extremely versatile, can play basically anywhere, from Safety to Corner to USER.  Height is a nice luxury or bonus, but by no means as important as last year, IMO.  The taller DBs, such as Kyle Pitts (97 OVR TTAS) or Harold Carmichael can certainly cover a lot more real-estate on the field, but once everyone has KOs, the knocks-out become fairly reliable.

I know you didn't ask, but someone else had a similar question just recently  (about which UL to choose) -- i would highly encourage you to try and time your 64/64 UL set reward for Saturday mr0ning once new content drops (at or around 10:30AM Eastern), you can potentially earn ~600k coins (or perhaps even more) which would buy you are Revis, plus perhaps a second (or even third) player that can help improve your team.

Obviously do whatever makes the most sense for you and your squad, but might be an opportunity to quickly earn some extra coin, while also adding Revis, as you have planned.  Good luck!  I'm investing a ton of time shuffling my DBs around and trying to adjust my scheme.  Not feeling the Bottleneck meta Man coverage is way too inconsistent, although i want to have the option to play a bit of Man Press from time to time.  Charvarius Ward is the only corner that i need to shuffle abilities around (between Man and Zone), otherwise I have Revis & Jack Tatum as my other two Press Man corners.  Last night Ryan Neal kept getting absolutely COOKED in Man coverage, TEs and HBs absolutely roast it and cannot be pressed.

EDIT:  I just recently heard that players are using Derrick Thomas to USER-press certain players, but i don't have the player and don't really understand the concept.

Thank you for your reply knowing that height is not that important really puts different ideas in my mind i will def take what you said into cconsideration.

As long as you have appropriate KOs on Ryan Clark, he'll make the plays. I've used him all over, from Slot corner to USER briefly, of course he'll make a fantastic Safety, as well. 

The taller guys can definitely cover more area of grass and make picks they have no business grabbing, but the height difference isn't as severe as in past Maddens, where your DBs would literally get Moss'ed and be unable to make plays on the high balls against NBA sized receivers. Very very different this year.

I run him at FS, but I suppose you could also run him at Slot cb and he would do just fine. Only thing I would recommend not doing is putting acrobat on him. I had it on him for a few games. Instead going for the deep zone ko, he would dive for the interception and the ball would go right through his hands (because it is June and EA is not going to bother fixing anything unless it hurts the revenue goal at this point), and into the receiver for a one play TD.

I finally settled on the following setup that I'll probably take to the end game unless some of the Rookie Premiere cards can upgrade spots. I run a Man/Zone hybrid scheme between Nickel 3-3 Cub and Big Nickel Over G Zone:

• Tatum (Universal, Bottleneck, Tackle Supreme, PA)
• Samuel (Reinforcement, Bottleneck, Tackle Supreme, OSA, MZKO)

SS:

• Neal (Universal, Inside Stuff, Film Study, Inside Stuff, No Outsiders, Secure Tackler, Pick Artist)

FS:

• Clark (Reinforcement x-factor, Persistent, Avalanche, Lurk Artist, MZKO, Tackle Supreme, Outside Shade (wish he had One Step Ahead), Out My Way)

SLBs:

• Gronkowski (Reinforcement x-factor, Persistent, MZKO, Lurk Artist, Tackle Supreme)
• Bernard (Reinforcement, Lurk Artist, MZKO, Inside Stuff, Acrobat, Edge Threat Elite)

I use the Pats 25/25 chems and 4/5 TTAS chems to boost all the speed to 98-99. Clark has 4/5 TTAS chems for Pats, Bears, and Seahawks so every metric is 99.
