Blocking Fullbacks/lead blockers

I like to go off meta so i sometimes run with a 2 bsck set,  i form, strong , etc....I've tried a number.of combinations as.lead blockersI'm the run game

There's a few things that I prefer from them...

They have to be fast/quick enough 2 get out on front of my HB......They have to seek. Out the right guy to block.... I'd like.a pancake but at the least of like them to occupy the defender for a sec (stay engaged).and I'd like them to move the defender to one side if possible

I've tried TEs like Delanie, 've tried linemen...

I've found that the best lead blocker (out of the backfield)  in the game for me is still the Nigerian. Nightmare. Even better than Jim Taylor with 0 AP honorary lineman.  Okoye is good even w/o honorary lineman.

Do you guys use a blocking back? Do you run the ball much? If you have a 2nd back for boxing who is it?

Used him and Nightmare for awhile with Byars more as a runner. For awhile was my go to runner.

They play pretty similar, the one huge edge Byars has is as a receiver to throw to.

Disappointed this year with blocking.  I forms have been kinda lackluster this year.  Only success I’ve had running a lead blocker was on tosses and (some) counters.  Sweeps, slants and dives are better with no lead blocker IMO but last year seemed far better. Also been more successful with smaller backs as the big guys just get hung up if there is no hole.  Little guys find one easier.  Yet to get an OP power back in the game but lots of fun with elusive speedy backs so far…with no lead blocker most of time.

If I’ve needed one my free Csonka has put in the work needed.

Yes  he's actually great but he's my C though... I have Nasty streak on him like u wrote.

I think he's too valuable to move from C though...I always see him dominating someone. Who do u run at C when.Kelce is at FB?

Interestingly, my leader in pancake blocks lately has been none.other than Megatron. More than Ditka or Larry Allen, 95 Cappa, Kelce, Ogden, Faneca.... Kelce has been 2nd.

I'm liking Earl more lately. You have to be patient with him but he's got 98 accel so. Once I pick my spot ... he's been good.

Thing is though,.I alternate between him and LaDanian Power vs elusive...yesterday I went to spell both and went back to Marcus.....Marcus freakin dominated....with no abilities on him.  I forgot how good that Marcus Allen card is

I rarely run with a blocking back and when i did team captain csonka was more than capable

I do run alot though with my HB, mostly i run inside zone and counter plays with my back, i also run many jet sweeps with my speedy receivers

Buy 1 AP SP Creed Humphrey and rotate Kelce to FB during 2 back sets
