Blocking in this game is an absolute meme

I'm selling some pieces of my OL at this point. It's utterly ridiculous how many times they ignore or run past the very obvious guy they should block and leave me to deal with it. But you know who they block without fail? Me, always getting in my way and preventing big gains. Good thing I started passing 95% of the time.

The drop step backward animation absolutely kills me. I’m focused on avoiding defenders and my o-line jumps backwards to tackle me.

Man it isn't just running the ball either. But yeah what you're talking about is a major drive killer for novalid reason. But I've had times I had a clear path to the end zone with a dot and then a receiver randomly bumps into me interrupting exactly my straight path to the end zone, slowing me down exactly enough to be tackled. As if there isn't already enough to account for and react to it's the randomness of our own guys to deal with on top of it.

This is why using free cards and NBDs on your OL is always best.

Yeah I'm already on it. Fortunately I got an 85 BND reward that I used on the LG who actually hits the 87 pass block threshold. I'm concerned about his low strength rating but from what I've seen that may be more important for DL than OL so we'll see how that goes.

And funny part is blocking is something EA emphasized as being totally revamped and better 😂 it’s so bad!
