This stuff is terrible. I hate the pay to win garbage as much as anyone, sadly it's not going away. I'm honestly surprised we haven't gotten any monthly or seasonal subscription offers.
The only thing worse is when they lock Solo Challenges beyond a similar pay wall. Such as, put 6 Gridiron Guardian players of this specific type into your roster, merely to play the game offline. Pathetic and terrible... sadly it's here to stay.
We can only hope EA is so full of themselves they do not renew their exclusive NFL simulation fatball license, maybe then they'll release generic American Football Club game 01. 🤬
