Boys, the abilities on these playoff cards are awful

So far none of them are usable for me...

I love Champ cards but the abilities don't compare to Revis,  Haynes, Cro....

Steve Young abilities don't stay up to Elway or Brady

Donald's abilities are similar to Bruce Smith but Smith also gets free instant rebate....

Any card I thought I might want, I really won't pick up because of the abilities/AP cost

Sorry to hear that none of these new 96’s make your team, meanwhile Champion Bailey is looking like the second coming of Christ for me.

That's what I don't really like about this madden, I like the discounted abilities as an idea, but so many new cards get trashy abilities, like why would I want to use the 96 Denard Robinson when I can use aaron rodgers with good abilities

But youre right. Thats why they dont give us numbers or tell us what things actually do because most cards would be useless for most people.

Champ gets pick artist free but he doesn't get the dominant man coverage abilities. I run inside shade and outside shade and with those abilities, my., corners play tighter than Champ. With the same.abilities he'd be as good or.better...plus they all have better press and I like to play press man a lot.

Champ is a 98 on my team but I have 4 other CBs that also get to 98. He could be my 5th CB but do I really want a Playoff promo Master to never see the field?

If I'm not mistaken, Steve Young can get the same AP set up as Elway. MUT.GG's database doesn't show it, but he does get SFL for 4 AP in Tier 3, so he can run SFL, HRM, and Fearless for 7 AP total. 

Obviously, you're giving up Slinger 1, but he is quite a bit cheaper and has more speed. Plus, Slinger 3 is a pretty solid release overall. But, if you're sitting on a mountain of coins, Elway is still the move due to his release.

Not the best abilities, but that's not a major deal to me. I'm going to get Champ, without a doubt. Enjoyed watching him play and have rocked his lower card for a while this year. My main goal is to have fun and I can do that with these cards.

Exactly. I was just going through some old stuff and found my old pee-wee football cards. The one from 2004 or 05 said “favorite player— Champ Bailey” in the stats!

Nice! MUT is fun for me, as it brings back memories of watching football growing up and now with my son. Good times!

I've been a Washington fan forever and really liked him when he played there. Portis turned out to be a solid trade for both sides, but always enjoyed watching him.

Champ is amazing. Cannot believe he's only 400k.
