Does anyone know if players cards get Legends Chem when they retire? This is my first year playing MUT regularly so I wasn’t sure. It seems as though all retired players get Legends Chem. So hopefully the next time they do a System Update on a day when the servers go down at 6:30AM he will have Legends Chem.
JJ Watt also retired this year and hasn't received legends chem yet.
It's extremely unlikely he will get Legends chemistry even if they give him another tribute card. I'm not aware of any tribute card in previous MUTs getting Legends chemistry.
He won't get Legends chem. But that won't stop them from giving him Legend cards in Madden 24... as long as he doesn't unretire again, which I'm not so sure he won't.
Brady tribute card take 2! Last year's card was quite good (and the first 99)!

To be fair, Legends chem has only been in the game this year.
I'd imagine his old cards won't get Legend chem added, but if he gets a Tribute card, it will probably have Legend chem on it. Though they could require the player be out of the league for a full season before they qualify for legend chem, so who knows.

True, I completely forgot Legends chemistry is new this year. Personally, I would prefer they don't give Legends chemistry to any players that retire this year. I run a Legends TT just to keep up with everyone else, but I think it's way overpowered with the TT boosts and they shouldn't add guys like J.J. Watt or Brady to that mix.

Bro, what do you mean, new? I think Legends chem has been in the game for a couple of years. Am I wrong about this?

There wasn't a Legends team chemistry in previous years. I double checked a few UL and Legends from last year's player database after Gent's comment and remembered Legends chemistry is new this year. It does feel like it has been around for a few years though, since most people are running a Legends TT lol.

yeah there wasn't an actual Legends "team" chem I guess....but power ups and strat cards were different so I guess that balanced it out
He won't get Legends chem until the offseason most likely, same with JJ Watt, as the official paperwork for a players retirement is done during the offseason
Generic comment: I don't like the Legends chem. All of the Legends are generally top players in their position. There is no need to give them any boosts. I think it is not rewarding for the guys who do a 'real' theme team and sacrifice quality at some positions and it reduces the variation in the lineups.
