Can't add abilities to 99 ovr players?

Hey everyone, for some reason the mut.gg lineup builder won't let me add abilities to 99's like Montana, Moss, Deion, and Calvin, and certain 98's like powered-up Gronk. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!

I have no clue. If your doing all the right things and still not getting the stuff to work try restarting your xbox and I would say to contact ea support but that has never really helped anyone

I sometimes have this issue when I get rid of an X-Factor or Refund it. If you haven’t tried to refresh your game already, try that. If that doesn’t help, can you tell me if you can equip the abilities in the Upgrades screen or not?

Sorry, I should've clarified better! I was talking about the mut.gg Lineup builder, I can't add abilities to certain players in the lineup builder. Updated OP for clarification

Have you tried cloning your lineup and editing the cloned lineup?

Also did not work… not sure what the issue is… should I send a screenshot of what I see when I try to add abilitie?

I tried that and it didn’t work unfortunately. I also tried cloning other people’s lineups who do have abilities on those players, but it still didn’t let me add or remove abilities. I added a screenshot to OP if that helps!
