Can't change abilities glitch?

This has happened a couple of times:  I edit my lineup and it does not give me the option to change the players with abilities.   On offense, I can go in and edit the screen.  However, on defense, I don't have an option to edit.    Has anyone experienced this before?

I have.

To fix, i found you can take a player who has abilities and remove them from the lineup.

Then you can edit. Then you put them back in.

Hope that works.
